Studio & Booking Policy At McKenzi Taylor Photography, respect for our shared time and business boundaries is a priority. Because studio blocks and outdoor sessions are carefully scheduled to ensure every client receives a dedicated, high-quality experience, the following policies strictly apply to all bookings: Online Booking & Payment Requirements Self-Service Booking: All bookings must be completed directly through the website. No manual bookings will be accepted unless a custom arrangement has been explicitly discussed and agreed upon in writing. Monthly Payments & Invoices: All monthly installment payments, retainer fees, and session balances must be processed online through the website. Transaction Fee: A standard $3.00 processing fee will be applied to each online transaction moving forward. Checkout & Signatures: A tip and signature screen will be presented at the conclusion of every session. While tipping is entirely optional and at your discretion, a completed signature is required to finalize checkout. Model Release & Privacy Clause Publication Consent: By booking a session, you grant McKenzi Taylor Photography permission to use and publish images from your gallery (including photos of minor children) on public platforms, including social media, marketing materials, and our website unless you (Opt-Out) or request a (Blurred Version). Opt-Out Responsibility: It is entirely the client's responsibility to inform McKenzi Taylor Photography in writing prior to or at the time of booking if you do not wish to have photos of yourself or your children published publicly. Exceptions cannot be made after the gallery or preview has been published. Punctuality & Studio Arrival Arrival: Please plan to arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled start time so we can begin promptly. Late Arrivals: There is a strict 5-minute grace period. Arriving more than 5 minutes late directly impacts the clients scheduled after you; therefore, your session will be canceled, and you will be required to reschedule for a different date and time. Retainers & Refunds Retainer Fees: All retainers and booking fees are strictly non-refundable. Cancellations & Forfeitures: If you refuse to reschedule or choose not to attend your scheduled session, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Rescheduling & Weather Policy Rescheduling Fee: A $75.00 rebooking fee is required to secure a new time slot for any client-initiated rescheduling. Weather Policy: For outdoor sessions, rescheduling due to inclement weather (such as rain) is handled at no extra charge. Firm Boundaries: Outside of inclement weather, the rebooking fee applies regardless of the situation. We are unable to make individual exceptions due to calendar constraints. Non-Payment & Abandonment Policy Final Balances & Fees: All final balances, add-ons, and applicable rebooking fees must be settled as agreed. Abandonment / No-Shows: If a client ghosts their session, refuses to pay their outstanding balance, or fails to pay required fees, the client will be permanently banned from booking future services with McKenzi Taylor Photography. Additionally, legal action will be taken to recover unpaid balances and contractual damages. By booking a session with McKenzi Taylor Photography, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above.
