Hi, I’m Mckenzi – a Midwest photographer based in Missouri. I’m a mama to three beautiful children — two girls here with me and one sweet angel son in heaven who inspires me daily. I’m also engaged to my best friend, Dallas, and together with our fur baby, Sweetpea, we make up a little family full of love, laughter, and a lot of chaos (the good kind). Photography has been my passion for over five years. I specialize in weddings and boudoir, but I also adore capturing families, milestones, and all the in-between moments that make life so special. For me, photography isn’t just about pictures — it’s about telling a story, expressing emotion, and freezing time in a way that feels both authentic and artful. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me at home — I’m a total homebody who loves music, cooking, painting, and anything creative. I’m happiest outdoors surrounded by nature, or deep into a new art project. Fashion, design, and all forms of self-expression inspire me endlessly. At the heart of everything I do are my kids, my fiancé, and my clients. I pour my soul into every session because I know how precious these memories are. My goal is to create images that feel alive — ones you can look back on years from now and still feel the warmth, love, and magic of that moment. Late Arrival & Studio Policy At McKenzi Taylor Photography, respect for our shared time is a priority. Our schedule is carefully curated to ensure every client receives a high-quality, professional experience. To maintain this standard, the following policy applies to all studio appointments: • Punctuality: Your session begins at the exact time scheduled. Please arrive prepared to begin at your start time. • The 15-Minute Cut-Off: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be automatically canceled and voided. • Inconvenience Fee: If you choose not to reschedule, the original session fee will still be charged in full as an inconvenience fee to cover the lost studio time and overhead. • Rescheduling: If you wish to book a new date following a late cancellation, a $75.00 rebooking fee will be required to secure a new time slot. Thank you for respecting the time and effort that goes into preparing your curated studio experience.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, but when you book a session with Mckenzi Taylor Photography, your time is reserved exclusively for you. Retainer Fees: All retainer fees are non-refundable and secure your session date. Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your session, you will still be responsible for the full session fee as an inconvenience charge. If this fee is not paid, your session will remain booked, and you will be prohibited from booking any future sessions with Mckenzi Taylor Photography. Your card on file may be charged for the outstanding amount. If payment cannot be collected, the matter may be escalated to small claims court. Wardrobe & Prop Policy The studio provides access to a curated Client Closet for all sessions. Please note that I do not purchase custom props or specific wardrobe pieces upon request. Anything desired for your session that is not currently available in the Client Closet must be provided by the client. Rescheduling: Rescheduling a session is allowed with advance notice and will incur a $75 rescheduling fee. This fee ensures we can accommodate your new date while keeping our schedule organized. By booking a session, you agree to this policy and understand that retainers are non-refundable, cancellations incur full session fees, and reschedules carry a $75 fee.
